Dear Torrent2exe users,
A torrent file itself contains nothing more than information about provided files, a tracker's address and some service data required for it to work in a BitTorrent network. Additional software is required to handle torrents files. Torrent2exe program was designed to make torrent files easily "downloadable".

When converting a torrent into an executable, we merge that torrent file with the Torrent2exe executable downloader. To make the resulting download as small as possible, we apply strong compression to the torrent file and the executable itself. This, probably, causes suspicion in some antivirus programs. To ensure the file is not infected, always check the files you download in various antivirus programs.

Happy downloading!

Dear TorrentExeFan,
Thank you for your feedback! Downloading speed of files thru BitTorrent protocol may depend on many circumstances. Correct port forwarding provides beneficent conditions for good downloading/uploading of files. You can check your port forwarding by launching your Torrent2Exe client and visiting our port checker at:
http://www.torrent2exe.com/test_port.php?port=X, where X is port number you want to check.

Also, you can take a look at the port forwarding guide at http://www.portforward.com/help/pfprogression.htm.

Thank you for feedback!
Unfortunately, we are not quite considering implementing a Mac version of Torrent2exe at this time.  However, we might take it into consideration if we find that many people are willing to have Torrent2exe on their Macs.

Try scanning the downloaded file on-line: http://virusscan.jotti.org. If the problem persists, run a thorough scan of your system. There is probably a virus that contaminates downloaded files.

What do you mean exactly? Downloading speed is visible when you are actually downloading a torrent. When it is done, only the uploading speed is shown.

Hello Locy,
Thank you for using our service!
In some cases invalid "*.fastresume" data files can be cause of crushing. Try to delete all "*.fastresume" files located in "%APPDATA%\Torrent2Exe\Torrents" directory (stop T2E first) before upgrading to new version. I suppose it will helps. In any event, give me know if it happens again.

Best of luck,
Sergei.

Probably, the "HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1417001333-776561741-725345543-1003\Software\Torrent2Exe.com" key is alias of your home key:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Torrent2Exe.com".
Sure, you can delete the either of "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Torrent2Exe.com" or "HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1417001333-776561741-725345543-1003\Software\Torrent2Exe.com", but you will lose all settings of Torrent2Exe (next time when you starts Torrent2Exe it’ll looks like you starting it a first time).
What Windows version you have?

Hello,
Torrent2Exe program writes into the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" registry key string values like "Torrent2Exe[2c883c1e604115baa546faf80ffc46c66878b546]".
Try to delete it all and restart Windows. After that, try to download your torrent again.
